Mary-Kyri Bridal Couture Shoes can create your own personalised heels, from the fabric used to the intricate details, including beadwork and lace, to the design and size.
Adelaide shoe designer Mary-Kyri Pallaras, who is behind the venture, explains the concept: “A lot of women can’t find the right wedding shoes - the material and details can be such a contrast to their gown! With our couture service, you can have your heels designed in perfect harmony with your dress.”
Brides can provide the fabric for their desired shoes, which exactly match their gown, or have it sourced. Careful consultation with brides will ensure the ideal look is achieved and personally designed by Mary-Kyri.
Mary-Kyri says if a bride is splashing out on an elaborate gown, the last thing she’d want to do is ruin the total look with poorly-matched heels. Plus, she says: “Your heels will be a one-off pair. No other bride will own them! It is not just about a pair of heels, it is about creating a precious memory.” The couture footwear is handmade in an Italian factory. Price is on application.
